Meet Dr. Tai

Dr. Mario Tai is a Board Certified specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He is dedicated in providing an individualized and the highest quality of care in orthodontics for all ages. He also continues to bring the latest advancements in orthodontics to benefits his patients.

Dr. Tai earned dual doctoral degrees at Harvard University where he received Doctor of Medical Sciences (D.M.Sc.) and Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.). He completed his orthodontic specialty training also at Harvard University where he received his Certificate in Orthodontics. Prior to this, he completed his undergraduate studies at University of California in Irvine and graduated with Honors in Biological Sciences.

Dr. Tai conducted extensive and innovative research on novel techniques for imaging cancer metastasis at the Children Hospital of Harvard Medical School. He was the recipient of multiple honors including the Harvard Medical School Research Fellowship Award and the American Association Dental Research Excellence Award.

Dr. Tai lectures at various study clubs and at international conferences on the fundamentals and the latest advancements in orthodontics. He was also the past president of the Greater Boston Chinese Dental Association.

Dr. Tai is licensed in the states of California, New York, and Massachusetts. His professional affliations include Harvard Society for the Advancement of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, California Association of Orthodontics, Orange County Dental Society, and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontist.
